Long Term Impact of Daily Eating Habits

When you pick up a food item from the grocery store, it can be beneficial to ask yourself, “How am I consuming this type of food, and how important is it to me to keep this habit?”

Comfort foods come in all shapes and sizes. Some people can’t imagine going a day without munching on an apple, while others need a small bowl of chocolate ice cream to wind down after a long day. We all have different needs, and it’s unreasonable to ask ourselves to cut the staples we rely on for physical and emotional support out of our diet completely. Instead, it helps to swap out our less nutritious favorites for healthier alternatives.

Healthy foods are made with better quality ingredients and will always be more expensive than the traditional version. As a result, exclusively eating health-conscious products may not be a viable option for everyone. If you’re on a tight budget you may need to place a limit on which items can be substituted for healthier alternatives.

Coffee creamer is something we consume
every morning and can’t start the day without, so consider the negative nutritional impact of standard creamers over time

At the end of the day, it comes down to how often you eat a given food. If you only have cake when a friend or family member has a birthday, it’s fine to save money and eat whatever is most affordable, since the impact on your health won’t be particularly high. However, if you eat a cookie every night as dessert, it may be worth finding a brand you trust who creates a cleaner cookie that fits with your diet goals, as eating a cookie high in calories, sugar, and saturated fat on a daily basis can certainly impact weight and contribute to weight-related diseases.

Coffee creamer falls under the latter category for most people: It’s something we consume every morning and can’t start the day without, so considering the negative nutritional impact of standard creamers discussed in the previous article, it’s undoubtedly worth it to shell out for a higher quality product to help ensure we live long and happy lives.

This is why I created Prymal. Traditional coffee creamers are loaded with sugar, chemicals, corn syrup, and hydrogenated oil–substances that our bodies are not meant to process on such a frequent basis. Eliminating this one daily serving of junk has measurable effects that I can personally vouch for: My father and mother have lost and kept off 15 and 8 pounds, respectively, without making any other changes to their diets. And they haven’t had to sacrifice any flavor in their coffee to achieve these results.

There you have it: By investing in Prymal, you can have your coffee creamer and drink it, too!
