Ahh...a bowl of warm oats brings back memories of a simpler time. Those carefree moments as a child scarfing breakfast before running to catch the school bus. My goal with this oatmeal launch is to pay homage to this traditional breakfast while reworking it to fit our modern health goals: sugar-free, clean, non-GMO & gluten-free.

It's the first low carb oatmeal option that still tastes like, well, oats. And to have it come in the form of nostalgic cereal flavors that defined our youth?! YES PLEASE!

Standard Quick Oats:

Non-GMO Gluten-free Quick Oats, Coconut Oil, Ketosweet (Erythritol, Chicory Root Extract, Monk Fruit Extract, Stevia Extract), Medium Chain Triglycerides, Vegetable Juice for Color, Organic Coconut Milk Powder, Inulin, Erythritol, Contains two percent or less of each of the following: Sodium Caseinate, Himalayan Pink Salt, Silicon Dioxide, Sunflower Lecithin, Natural Flavor

Half-Carb Quick Oats:

**This product contains sodium caseinate, a milk-derived ingredient with the lactose removed. If you are lactose intolerant this should be safe to consume but please consult your doctor or dietitian if you are unsure. Do not consume if you are allergic to casein or are vegan.

+ WHAT MAKES IT HALF-CARB?

My unique half-carb blend tastes like & has the texture of real oats but with half the carbs because it still contains someoatmeal. Just not as much as a standard packet. My 100% quick oat formula contains 32g of quick oats.

My half-carb version is only 16g of quick oats, with the remaining 16g coming from a blend of non-gmo hemp hearts + flax seeds.

Prymal Sugar-free Quick Oats

1. Empty packet into bowl

2. Pour 1/2 cup of milk or milk alternative. Microwave for 1.5 min or heat on the stove, stirring occasionally.

3. Let oatmeal cool. Stir, & if desired you can splash a touch more milk on top (I do this to cool it down plus to make it even more creamy of a finish). Enjoy!

High in nutritional density, low in carbs

Hemp seeds also contain all nine essential amino acids, and they are well digested, especially for a plant-based protein.

It's also rich in Magnesium which . Magnesium is needed by the body for maintaining healthy blood sugar levels. According to the National Institutes of Health, magnesium helps the body break down sugars and might help reduce the risk of insulin resistance—a condition that can lead to diabetes.

Vitamins and Minerals

Not only are hemp hearts loaded with healthy fats and proteins, but they’re also packed with nutrients.

Hemp is an excellent source of magnesium, providing about 210mg or about 50% of your daily needs. A serving of seeds also has 13% of the daily iron requirements for adults (2.4mg). Hemp hearts are also a good source of zinc, providing about 3mg per serving or about 20% of your daily needs.

+ WHAT are the Health Benefits of Flax seeds?


Its primary healthy reputation are from these 3 things:

  • Omega-3 essential fatty acids, "good" fats that have been shown to have heart-healthy effects. Each tablespoon of ground flaxseed contains about 1.8 grams of plant omega-3s.
  • Lignans, which have both plant estrogen and antioxidant qualities. Flaxseed contains 75 to 800 times more lignans than other plant foods.
  • Fiber. Flaxseed contains both the soluble and insoluble types.

Amazing! Best idea from Courtney yet!

The fruit loop oatmeal upon opening smelled and looked just like fruit loops. It was fragrant and pretty.

The fruit loop oatmeal was easy to make, just added hot water. I believe this was the low carb option correct but it was indeed our favorite. It was very flavorful and very different from any oatmeal we have ever had. It was a very nice treat to have an alternative oatmeal that was just as delicious as regular oatmeal.

Serving size it was just okay. When buying this, I would probably make two packets always.

The other packet I can’t even remember what flavor I picked but something with cinnamon. It was good but our fave was definitely the fruit loop. We made this packet with warm milk, and it was perfect this way. However making the low carb version with water did not make it any less tasty.

The portion on the regular oatmeal would be just enough to hold over until a mid morning snack.

These were amazing and we can’t wait to get our hands on these regularly! Especially the low carb options.

Man if this is just the beginning, I. Any wait to see what Courtney has up her sleeve.

Pretty darn good!

I must say I love my Prymal creamers and the flavor it gives my coffee. Didn’t know how these flavors would transfer to oatmeal but I was pleasantly surprised! My favorite was the low carb packet. Flavor was on point! To be honest, I’m not a fan of sugar free In general so the sugar free oatmeal was okay.

So yummy!

The Prymal oatmeal was so good. It was thick and creamy and the flavors were on point. I’m so happy they offer a low carb version. I was partial to the Fruity Loop Cereal Milk flavor. I can’t wait to be able to order more.

Delicious

The Prymal oatmeal is so tasty. It was very easy to prepare and filling. I ordered it for my diabetic child. Oatmeal was a favorite food and was highly missed after the diabetes diagnosis, BUT with Prymal the favorite food is back. There were no blood sugar spikes after eating it. Thank you so much for creating this oatmeal. You have no idea how much you've given back to my child, which means you've given even more back to me!
